Materials used in this food garnishing project: 1 slice of toasted bread, 1 piece of bologna, 1 piece of orange cheese, 1 piece of yellow cheese, 1 green pea, 1 black olive, 1 piece of boiled carrot, 1 piece of dill, 1 leaf of lettuce, and butter, salad dressing or mayo.
Step 1. Using a round cutter, cut two big circles, a bunny’s “body” and “head”, out of a piece of bologna. Using a cutter of a smaller diameter, cut a small circle; then cut it in half. These will be bunny’s front paws.
Step 2. Take a piece of toasted bread and spread butter, mayo or your favorite salad dressing over it. Put a piece of cheese on top. Put the bunny’s “body”, “head”, and “paws” on top of cheese.
Step 3. Using an oval cutter, cut three ovals out of bologna. Two of the ovals will be the bunny’s hind paws. Cut the third bologna oval in half – these will be the bunny’s ears.
Step 4. Put ears to the bunny’s head.
Step 5. Cut the bunny’s cheeks out of a piece of yellow cheese and the bunny’s “feet” out of a piece of orange cheese.
Step 6. Put the “cheeks” on the bunny’s face.
Step 7. Halves of a green pea will make the bunny’s eyes. Pupils can be made out of black caviar.
Step 8. Cut the bunny’s nose out of a black olive. Pieces of dill will make its "mouth."
Step 9. Put the bunny’s “hind paws” and “feet” on the toast as shown in the picture.
Step 10. Cut three triangles out of a boiled carrot. Put these carrot pieces next to the bunny’s front paw and put pieces of dill to them so they look like a bunch of carrots.
Step 11. Put your "bunny" on a leaf of lettuce to serve.
